New Directions is seeking a skilled Outpatient Addictions Clinical Supervisor & Counselor to
provide clinical leadership and direct care within our outpatient addictions program. This role combines
hands-on counseling with clinical supervision, making it ideal for an experienced CADC who enjoys

About the Role
The Clinical Supervisor & Counselor provides clinical supervision to CADC-R and CADC staff in
accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules while maintaining a small outpatient caseload. The role
ensures regulatory compliance, supports staff development, and delivers high-quality, evidence-based
substance use treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision to CADC-R and CADC staff per OAR and MHACBO standards
Document supervision and review clinical records for quality and compliance
Maintain a small caseload providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
Conduct ASAM and DSM-5–based assessments
Facilitate individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices
Ensure documentation meets OAR, payer, and audit requirements
Participate in program leadership, quality improvement, and policy development
Collaborate with courts, CCOs, DHS, parole/probation, and community partners
Support staff onboarding, training, and program readiness for audits
Required Qualifications
CADC II or higher (must meet MHACBO supervision standards)
3+ years of experience providing addiction treatment services
Experience supervising CADC-R and CADC staff
Strong knowledge of OAR 309-019 outpatient standards
Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation
Ability to pass required background checks
Valid Oregon driver’s license preferred
Work Environment
In-person outpatient clinical setting in Baker City, OR
Regular interaction with clients, staff, and community partners
Occasional evening hours or local travel may be required
