About the Role
The Clinical Supervisor & Counselor provides clinical supervision to CADC-R and CADC staff in
accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules while maintaining a small outpatient caseload. The role
ensures regulatory compliance, supports staff development, and delivers high-quality, evidence-based
substance use treatment.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide clinical supervision to CADC-R and CADC staff per OAR and MHACBO standards
– Document supervision and review clinical records for quality and compliance
– Maintain a small caseload providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
– Conduct ASAM and DSM-5–based assessments
– Facilitate individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices
– Ensure documentation meets OAR, payer, and audit requirements
– Participate in program leadership, quality improvement, and policy development
– Collaborate with courts, CCOs, DHS, parole/probation, and community partners
– Support staff onboarding, training, and program readiness for audits
Required Qualifications
– CADC II or higher (must meet MHACBO supervision standards)
– 3+ years of experience providing addiction treatment services
– Experience supervising CADC-R and CADC staff
– Strong knowledge of OAR 309-019 outpatient standards
– Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
– Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation
– Ability to pass required background checks
– Valid Oregon driver’s license preferred
