Job Description
This is a PRN position (on-call as needed only)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
- Helpdesk support, monitor support tickets.
- Install, modify, and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical advice and support to system users.
- Ensure issue resolutions and training is documented per department requirements.
- Phone system support, video conferencing setup, and Printer/copier/fax/scanner monitoring.
- Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on users’ premises.
- Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
- Coordinate activities with network services and information system groups.
- Refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
- Administer e-mail and anti-virus systems.
- Knowledge of or skill with the equipment, systems, theory, and protocols of computer information networks
- Knowledge of VPNs, Firewalls, Cybersecurity, Software Management for large groups of computers running on diverse operating systems.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of background check.
Preferred:
- AA degree in Information Technology, or related field.
- Plus, 2-years’ experience providing software support to end users.
- Bilingual/Multilingual a plus.
- Prefer Microsoft Certification.
- Network Support Experience.
