Mobile Crisis Response & Crisis Respite/Stabilization Supervisor
Location: Baker City, OR

New Directions is seeking an experienced, licensed behavioral health professional to lead our Mobile
Crisis Team and oversee admissions and discharges for our Crisis Respite Center and Community
Stabilization Center. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced

About the Role
The Supervisor provides clinical and operational oversight for mobile crisis response services and crisis
residential programs, ensuring timely, effective, and compliant care. The role includes staff supervision,
quality oversight, and occasional direct crisis response.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise daily operations of the Mobile Crisis Team
– Provide clinical supervision to licensed/unlicensed staff and peers
– Ensure timely, trauma-informed, culturally responsive crisis response
– Participate in mobile crisis response as needed
– Review and approve clinical documentation and safety plans
– Coordinate admissions and discharges for crisis respite and stabilization services
– Collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, hospitals, and community partners
– Ensure compliance with OHA, CCBHC, and agency standards
– Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Required Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
– Oregon licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist), or eligible within 6 months
– 3+ years of crisis intervention or emergency behavioral health experience
– Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
– Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure, community-based settings
– Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and harm-reduction practices
– Must pass required background checks
Work Environment
– In-person role based in Baker City, OR
– Community-based work with local travel (vehicle or mileage reimbursement)
– May include evenings, weekends, or on-call hours
– Exposure to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises
